This activity is designed to build your skills as a persuasive speaker.
We will read the text of the story in class and have an initial discussion about the plot and characters.
Your task is to read the story and use the attached evidence gathering table to gather evidence on the guilt or innocence of the characters in relation to their responsibility for Red’s death.
Once completed you will be responsible for arguing for or against for each character to convince the DA to either charge or assign responsibility to a character for the death of Red.
