Your task today is to write a paragraph to support your point of view about one of the characters in the story.
You should choose a character that you wish to write about from the 5 listed. Then decide whether you are going to argue that they are responsible or if they are not responsible for Red’s death.
Your paragraph should attempt to persuade others of your point of view using evidence from the text.
Once done you will be placed in groups and will have to argue your point of view against a group with an opposing point of view.
You should use the S.E.X.Y. paragraph structure to frame your argument.
Copies of the story and the class evidence grid are attached. you may also use your own evidence grid to assist in the construction of your paragraph.
